In order to sell off the Nintendo Gameboy to make room for the new GameboyDS, traditional print advertising was followed up with a mircrosite——where visitors could decide which customized Gameboy was right for them. There were 9 different Gameboy styles / colors, so we assigned a different personality to each one. We then worked with a collection of designers, animators and directors to create 9 animated videos, downloads, personalities and other engaging content for consumers to interact with.
